Quick Fix: How to Get Your Airless Pump Running

The Airless pump is the best container for cosmetic products as it keeps them safe from contamination and is very convenient and efficient way to dispense skincare products without exposure to air, ensuring their longevity and efficacy. However, like any mechanical device, airless pumps can occasionally have their faults. If you find yourself with a malfunctioning pump, don’t worry – a simple paper clip can be your hero.

Follow these easy steps to fix your airless pump and keep your favorite skincare products flowing smoothly.

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Before you begin, make sure you have a standard-sized paper clip on hand. This common household item will serve as your tool for unclogging the airless pump.

Step 2: Locate the Airless Pump Opening

Identify the small opening at the base of the airless pump. This is where the paper clip will go.

Step 3: Unwind the Paper Clip

Straighten the paper clip, leaving a small hook at one end.

Step 4: Insert the Paper Clip in the Opening

Carefully insert the hooked end of the paper clip into the opening of the pump. Hold the paper clip inside the small opening. Be patient and avoid using excessive force to prevent damage to the pump.

Step 5: Begin pumping

Pump for 30 seconds to 1 minute, while holding the paper clip inside the pump. This will help get the air out of the pump, which causes it to malfunction.
